How can I get a higher maximum balance?

To increase your wallet limits, you need to upload a document proving your income or occupation (e.g. payslip, bank statement, or employment certificate). Simply take a photo in the app and submit it. Our team will review your request within a few business days. Once approved, your wallet limits will be upgraded.

Is there a limit to how much money I can withdraw?

You can withdraw a maximum of 500 TND in a single withdrawal, with a daily limit of 500 TND, but no more than your current wallet balance.  If your request for higher limits was approved, then you can withdraw a maximum of 1,000 TND in a single withdrawal, with a daily limit of 1,000 TND, but no more than your current wallet balance.

Is walletii safe?

Yes. We take your safety very seriously. We are licensed by the Central Bank of Tunisia, and we use the latest technology to make sure that your money is secure, and we comply with all the relevant Tunisia and international security standards for sending and storing money. We also choose our money-sending partners (such as MoneyGram) based on their proven approach to financial and data safety and security.

Is there a maximum balance for my walletii account?

Yes, your wallet balance cannot exceed 1,000 TND. If you need a higher limit, you can request an increase of up to 5,000 TND directly in the app. You can find more information about walletii’s limits here.

Am I eligible to open a walletii account?

To open a walletii account, you must be over 18, hold a valid Tunisian ID, and have Tunisian phone number. You can also have multiple wallets with different providers at the same time.

How can I add money to my wallet?

You can top up your wallet by creating a cash in voucher code in the mobile app and redeem it at the nearest Ooredoo agent.

How can I sign up and start using walletii?

Download the walletii app, and it will guide you through the sign-up process. We have to verify your identity before you can send or receive money. You’ll be asked to take a selfie and scan your ID, so have this at hand.

Do I need to maintain a minimum balance in my walletii account?

There is no minimum balance required. You can keep it at 0; we won’t charge you for inactivity.

Will I be charged for receiving money into my walletii account?

No, you will not be charged for receiving money in walletii.

I have forgotten my passcode. What can I do?

You can use the forgotten passcode feature, where we will take a selfie. We will verify your identity, and then you will be able to create a new passcode.

What can I do to keep my account safe?

Choose a strong, unique passcode and change it regularly. Do not use a passcode that can be easily guessed based on your personal information (like your birthday or address). Do not reuse the same passcode you use to unlock your phone or other apps. Never share your passcode with anyone. Do not write down your passcode; ensure no one can see it. Lock your device when it’s not being used. Enable biometrics for faster, safer authentication. Check your transactions regularly. If you suspect fraud, please email support.tn@walletii.com.

Will I be charged anything for opening walletii?

No, opening and maintaining your walletii account is completely free. You won't be charged for keeping your balance at zero or for periods of inactivity either.

What if I want to change my phone number?

For security reasons, you cannot change the phone number linked to your walletii account. You must close your existing account and open a new one with your new number.

Is there a limit to how much money I can add?

You can add a maximum of 1,000 TND in a single top-up, with a daily limit and maximum balance of 1,000 TND. If your request for higher limits was approved, then you can add a maximum of 5,000 TND in a single top-up, with a daily limit and maximum balance of 5,000 TND.

How fast are the transfers?

Local payments happen immediately. The recipient will receive money instantly.

Will I be charged for adding money?

No, there is no charge for adding money into your own wallet.

How can I check the status of my bill payment?

Go to ‘History’. Tap on the arrow at the bottom and then tap on the transaction you wish to see in detail. Remember, while a transaction is successful in walletii and shows as paid, it can still take a few hours for the updated balance to be reflected.

How does my walletii account become activated?

Once you’ve finished the verification process, which itself is very quick, then it should only take a couple of minutes for your walletii account to be opened. Occasionally, we may need to do some additional checks to verify your identity, but these should only take 1-3 business days.

What if I lose my phone?

Download the walletii app to the new phone and log in with your existing phone number. We will verify your phone number and passcode. This will automatically sign out your account on the lost phone.

Will I be charged for creating a walletii wallet?

No, there is no charge to open a walletii wallet.

My recharge or bill payment hasn’t reached the biller yet—what’s going on?

Prepaid payments are usually processed immediately, while postpaid bill payments may take a few hours. If it’s been more than 24 hours and your payment still hasn’t reached the biller, please contact us through the ‘Help & support’ section of the app—we’ll look into it right away.

How can I identify and avoid fraud?

Watch out for unexpected messages offering prizes or jobs, or ads claiming you’ve won money from walletii or its partners. Be cautious of anyone asking to use your wallet for money transfers. If something feels off, always double-check in the walletii app or contact us at support.tn@walletii.com.

Why can’t I find walletii on the App Store or Google Play?

To download walletii, you need to make sure you’re searching in the App Store or Google Play of a country where walletii is available. You can always switch your App Store or Google Play location.

How can I withdraw money?

Generate a withdrawal voucher code in the mobile app and redeem it at the nearest Ooredoo agent location.

Can I pay a bill for my family member?

Yes, you can pay bills for others if you know their mobile phone number.

My verification is pending, what does it mean?

This means we need some additional time to verify your identity. You’ll be notified when this process is completed. We appreciate your patience.

What should I do if I suspect fraud?

If you think something suspicious is happening, go to the walletii app and tap Help & Support > Contact Us > Message Us. You can also contact us directly at support.tn@walletii.com. Don’t reply to unknown messages or share your passcode with anyone.

How does walletii protect my account?

Your account is secured with your passcode or biometric verification. We constantly monitor for suspicious activity and take immediate action when needed. You’ll only receive updates or promotions through official walletii channels.

I’m having issues scanning my ID, what do I do now?

Clean your ID and try to use different lighting conditions. If the problem persists, please contact us through the ‘Help and support’ section of the app.

My documents have been rejected. What should I do now?

We may have assessed that some of your personal data is incorrect. Please try the verification process again, or contact us through the ‘Help and support’ section of the app.

My verification is pending, what does it mean?

This means we need some additional time to verify your identity. You’ll be notified when this process is completed. We appreciate your patience.

How do I close my walletii account?

We hope you don’t choose to close your account but, if you decide to do so, go to your profile settings → Account details → Close account. Make sure you have a wallet balance of 0 TND before doing so. Otherwise, we can’t close your account. Once you’ve successfully requested your account’s closure, we’ll process it within two weeks.
