I didn't get a referral reward.
Once your friend makes their first payment, you’ll receive a referral reward. If you’re sure your friend has made a payment, and your reward hasn’t arrived within 10 minutes, please contact us through the 'Help and support' section of the app.
How can I sign up and start using walletii?
Download the walletii app, and it will guide you through the sign-up process. We have to verify your identity before you can send or receive money. You’ll be asked to take a selfie and scan your ID, so have this at hand.
Do I need to maintain a minimum balance in my walletii account?
There is no minimum balance required. You can keep it at 0; we won’t charge you for inactivity.
Will I be charged for receiving money into my walletii account?
No, you will not be charged for receiving money in walletii.
I have forgotten my passcode. What can I do?
You can use the forgotten passcode feature, where we will take a selfie. We will verify your identity, and then you will be able to create a new passcode.
How can I invite a friend?
Go to ‘Invite friends’, where you’ll find your unique referral code to share with friends. Copy the code and send it using your preferred messaging service. When your friends create their account, they can enter your code by going to ‘Invite friends’ in their app and tapping ‘I have a referral code’ at the bottom of the screen.
Will I be charged anything for opening walletii?
No, opening a walletii wallet is free. And you also won’t be charged if you keep your balance at zero or inactive for a period of time.
What if I want to change my phone number?
For security reasons, you cannot change the phone number linked to your walletii account. You must close your existing account and open a new one with your new number.
How fast are the transfers?
Local payments happen immediately. The recipient will receive money instantly.
Will I be charged for adding money?
No, there is no charge for adding money.
How can I check the status of my bill payment?
Go to ‘History’. Tap on the arrow at the bottom and then tap on the transaction you wish to see in detail. Remember, while a transaction is successful in walletii and shows as paid, it can still take a few hours for the updated balance to be reflected.
What if I lose my phone?
Download the walletii app to the new phone and log in with your existing phone number. We will verify your phone number and passcode. This will automatically sign out your account on the lost phone.
Will I be charged for creating a walletii wallet?
No, there is no charge to open a walletii wallet.
My recharge or bill payment hasn’t reached the biller yet—what’s going on?
Prepaid payments are usually processed immediately, while postpaid bill payments may take a few hours. If it’s been more than 24 hours and your payment still hasn’t reached the biller, please contact us through the ‘Help & support’ section of the app—we’ll look into it right away.
Why can’t I find walletii on the App Store or Google Play?
To download walletii, you need to make sure you’re searching in the App Store or Google Play of a country where walletii is available. You can always switch your App Store or Google Play location.
Can I pay a bill for my family member?
Yes, you can pay bills for others if you know their mobile phone number.
My verification is pending, what does it mean?
This means we need some additional time to verify your identity. You’ll be notified when this process is completed. We appreciate your patience.
My ID has expired, what should I do now?
Log in to the app, and you’ll be prompted to update your personal details, where you can upload a new ID. Your app is good to go once your new ID is verified.
I’m having issues scanning my ID, what do I do now?
Clean your ID and try to use different lighting conditions. If the problem persists, please contact us through the ‘Help and support’ section of the app.
My documents have been rejected. What should I do now?
We may have assessed that some of your personal data is incorrect. Please try the verification process again, or contact us through the ‘Help and support’ section of the app.
My verification is pending, what does it mean?

Is the walletii app available for HarmonyOS?
The walletii app is only available for iOS and Android.
